Tell us what stage of planning you are in. We will either answer directly, point you to the right guide, or help you turn it into a workable itinerary.
Who you are writing to
I am Shane Yang, originally from Hanzhong, Shaanxi, China. I studied in Xi'an, then moved to Beijing and have worked here for the past 10 years. Today I work as an Algorithm Engineer at TikTok, and Hidden Beijing is how I share the city from a local point of view with people who want something more real than a generic travel list.

How the inquiry process works
Tell us your trip context
Share your dates, group size, travel style, and the main problem you want solved.
We point you to the right next step
Sometimes that is a guide article, sometimes a private tour, and sometimes a custom recommendation over email or WhatsApp.
You get a practical reply
We focus on usable answers: route ideas, what to book first, what to skip, and how to avoid common mistakes.
We move to booking only if it makes sense
No pressure. If your trip needs a private guide or custom plan, we will outline the best option clearly.
